Skydio X10 (SkydioLink radio module grant): who makes it, what’s inside, and how it reads against the US lists.

Five applications on the SkydioLink module: two filed 22 November 2023 (a change of FCC ID and a modular approval), two permissive changes filed 2 February 2024, and a Class III permissive change filed 10 December 2024. The internal photos, two pages held until 26 August 2024, show the module shielded and taped; no marking could be read. The read is "unknown". Skydio is not listed.

The record is public. On the FCC’s own search (apps.fcc.gov, equipment authorisation) enter grantee code 2ATQR and product code SMODBV3S; each exhibit above is listed there by the number in the Exhibit column.

What the exhibits and the photos show.

A module is counted when an exhibit declares it or its own FCC ID is readable on a photo. A chip is counted when its marking can be read; a logo alone, or an illegible marking, is recorded as exactly that.

Modules the record declares

No module is declared in the record: no exhibit says "Contains FCC ID", and no module’s own FCC ID was read on the photos.

Chips read on the internal photos

No chip marking could be read from the internal photos.

The host, the modules and the chips, against three lists.

ListHost makerDeclared modules and chips read
FCC Covered List Not listed Nothing readable
Section 889 Not listed Nothing readable
1260H list Not listed Nothing readable
unknown

No chip marking could be read: the module is shown shielded and taped. The host maker is not listed.

The record cannot answer. The page says what is missing; an unknown is never written as clean.

Read 15 Oct 2026. FCC Covered List and Section 889 copies held by the desk on 15 Oct 2026; the desk’s copy of the 1260H list dated 10 Jun 2026.

What this read does not show

  • Every chip marking.
  • The aircraft itself: this grant covers the radio module, and there is no whole-aircraft grant to read.
  • Skydio’s own product page names a Telit cellular module (FCC ID RI7FN990A40) for the 5G variant; it is not in this grant and was not checked.
