TP-Link Omada EAP650 v2: who makes it, what’s inside, and how it reads against the US lists.
Four applications: two original grants filed 18 July 2023 and two Class II permissive changes filed 14 May 2024, each with covered-list attestation letters. The internal photos are legible and show MediaTek processor and Wi-Fi chips, a Texas Instruments Bluetooth chip and ESMT memory. None of those makers is listed. The grantee’s name resembles a 1260H entry (TP-Link Technologies Co., Ltd.) but is a different TP-Link entity; whether they are the same is a question for a person, not for this read.

The record is public. On the FCC’s own search (apps.fcc.gov, equipment authorisation) enter grantee code 2AXJ4 and product code EAP650V2; each exhibit above is listed there by the number in the Exhibit column.
What is inside
What the exhibits and the photos show.
A module is counted when an exhibit declares it or its own FCC ID is readable on a photo. A chip is counted when its marking can be read; a logo alone, or an illegible marking, is recorded as exactly that.
Modules the record declares
No module is declared in the record: no exhibit says "Contains FCC ID", and no module’s own FCC ID was read on the photos.

Against the US lists
The host, the modules and the chips, against three lists.
| List | Host maker | Declared modules and chips read |
|---|---|---|
| FCC Covered List | Not listed | None listed among what was read |
| Section 889 | Not listed | None listed among what was read |
| 1260H list | Not an entry; a resembling name is flagged | None listed among what was read |
Nothing listed among the declared modules (none) and the four chips read. The host identity stays open: the grantee name resembles a 1260H entry and a person confirms whether they are the same.
The grantee, TP-Link Corporation Ltd., is not an entry on any of the three lists. The 1260H list carries TP-Link Technologies Co., Ltd., a different entity. A grantee name that only resembles a listed entity is a flag for a person to confirm; this read does not decide it.
Nothing listed among the host, the declared modules and what the internal photos show. Shields, unlabelled parts and confidential documents can still hide a component.
Read 15 Oct 2026. FCC Covered List and Section 889 copies held by the desk on 15 Oct 2026; the desk’s copy of the 1260H list dated 10 Jun 2026.
What this read does not show
- Whether the grantee is the entity the 1260H list names. The lists name entities; the record names a grantee.
- Schematics, block diagrams and parts lists are held confidential and are not in the public list.
