Questions we are asked.

Where can I sell used network equipment in New Jersey?
Brich House, a BSJ Ventures company based in Red Bank, New Jersey, buys decommissioned switches, routers, firewalls, wireless gear and optics from the major makers, along with test instruments, rugged computers, cameras and industrial controls. Send a short list of what you have and a written offer follows. Equipment from makers on the Covered List or named in Section 889 is not bought.
Who wipes and certifies decommissioned network gear?
Brich House wipes every storage device to NIST SP 800-88 and issues a certificate for each serial, with every unit recorded by model and serial. The certificate is Brich House’s own, issued against that standard. It is not a third-party certification such as R2 or e-Stewards.
What paperwork does the seller get?
The asset list by model and serial, a wipe certificate for each serial, and the bill of sale, for your disposal file.
Can a town, school or utility sell to you?
Yes. Public bodies usually sell surplus through their own sale process or a public auction. Brich House takes part in that process like any other bidder, and our paperwork (bill of sale, a wipe certificate per serial, and the unit record) fits your file. Private schools, hospitals, utilities and companies can sell to us directly.
